The 4.6 Patch is a patch that was announced on December 13th, 2014 and was released on December 16th, 2014. Below are the official patch notes:

BATTLE FOR RICHES AND GLORY IN THE ALL NEW LIMITED TIME EVENT, THE ARENA CHALLENGE!
Join a Guild to play the all new Arena Challenge mode and participate in the ultimate battle for riches and fame. Work together and assemble the might of your armies to annihilate the competition. The rewards for combat have never been greater, fight to win epic new units, huge loot payouts, resources and more!
The top performing Guild will win the coveted ARENA CHAMPION AWARD and a commemorative award will be created in your Guild’s honor and Battle Nation’s players will know your power.

This update also includes performance updates & behind the scenes improvements. We’ve also implemented some enhancements to Steam and players can now copy and paste in all text boxes.

- New missions
- New bosses (at least the Dreadnought will be repeatable, possibly with rare drop)
- Arena Challenge (Boss Strikes will be less frequent)
