Overview

The Attack Drone is the Tier 3 reward for the 10th Boss Strike event, Dr. Vogel, the Tier 7 reward for the 12th Boss Strike event, the Raider Warlord Challenge, and the Tier 3 reward for the 18th Boss Strike event, Sergeant Ludlow's Revenge.

The Attack Drone is a precision-strike aircraft, since its only weapon is a guided missile attack. This powerful -type attack has a 115% critical hit chance versus Vehicles, a 50-70% base critical hit chance and has a high 75% armor-piercing capability. However, this attack is limited by its 1-turn prep time, 5-turn cooldown and 8-turn reload.

While it does have decent resistances against -type and -type damage, it is still a fragile unit and should be kept behind beefier targets, but to make up for it, it has a high offense, a great chance to land a critical hit, high damage and a lot of armor piercing. Overall, against armored units, this unit can be lethal.

The Attack Drone ranks up relatively quickly and every time it ranks up, it gains  40.

Trivia

• The Attack Drone seems to be a cartoonist's attempt to recreate the infamous "Predator Drone" and various other UAVs armed with AGMs.
• The illustration for the Attack Drone is quite a simple design compared to most other Battle Nations units. It resembles a child's toy.
