- "Blockhouses are big, tough defensive structures. They'll fight in combat for you, and they'll do it with machine guns, grenades, and a faint air of superiority."
- — In-game Description
Overview[]
The Blockhouse functions as an upgraded Pillbox, and can grant a large advantage to protecting a player's Outpost from unwelcome visitors. As with the other turret-like defenses, it has a direct line of fire, meaning that it cannot hit any unit is that is placed behind blocking units.
Building a Blockhouse is mandatory for the mission, Some Men Left Behind.

Trivia[]
- Destroyed versions of this along with Armored Fortresses represent destroyed buildings in cities such as Marin.
- This defense structure was probably based on the German fortress known to the allies as the "Block House" which was designed to launch V-2 rockets at England.
