Overview[]

The Demoman is a unit released in the 4.1 Patch.

Available to be trained for Resource-nanopod 50 Nanopods, this unit boasts a 20% resistance to all damage types, as well as immunities to the StatusEffect-Acid Acid and StatusEffect-poison Poison Dot status effects.

Although fairly easy to level up at lower ranks, the Resource-SP SP required to rank this unit begins to bloat at rank 5, beginning to triple at later ranks instead of double as seen from ranks 1-4; continuing with the trend many new units have gone through.

Able to be trained starting at level 13, the Demoman brings an explosive arsenal to the battlefield, with its Triple Bomb and Fire Grenade attacks unlocked immediately at rank 1. This unit's two attacks are similar to the Heavy Grenadier's, but do more damage and one has less cooldown time. Its Triple Bomb attack can do over 400 damage at maximum rank. Its second attack, Fire Grenade, is less damaging, but has a chance to set a small group of enemies on fire. Neither attack has armor piercing, limiting this unit's usefulness against vehicles.
