Overview[]

The Field Agent is a soldier unit armed with numerous tools, making this unit an all-purpose unit. It is the non-nanopod version of the limited availability unit, the Special Agent.

Like the Special Agent that was released before it, the Field Agent starts with 3 attack options. However, only two of these abilities can be equipped until rank 4.

The Nerve Gas attack targets every enemy infantry unit on the battlefield, dealing moderate damage, but with the chance to stun the enemy. The EMP Burst attack is the vehicle-only version of the Nerve Gas, but can also affect Air units.

The Field Agent also has a Pistol weapon, but unlike the Special Agent, this attack fires "forward", where the Special Agent targets from the back-to-the-front. Unlike most other pistol-like attacks, the Eliminate attack is a Contact line of fire, meaning that despite being range 1-2, it will not ignore non-Blocking units.

Regardless of the tiny nuances of the pistol attack, the Field Agent best serves as a support unit, whittling down the enemies' health and potentially stunning large groups of enemy units. Equipping both battlefield-targeting attacks allows the player to field this unit safely in the back row. The restrictions on the Pistol makes the 2nd row the ideal row for the Field Agent to maximize their damage potential, even after they unlock their third ability slot.

In PvP, the Field Agent's low Unit Value allows low-point armies to field these Agents and make use of their versatility and capabilities.

    Trivia[]

    • When attacking the player will see that the Field Agent's left hand has a black glove over it which is not seen anywhere else.
    • The Field Agent pulls a slight of hands when using the EMP or Nerve Gas attacks, as when they pull the EMP/Nerve Gas out then put their hands back it reappears.
