Profile[]

Lieutenant Morgan is the player's Lieutenant and trusted right-hand. He frequently guides the player alongside Floyd, Zoey, Ramsey, and Perkins through missions, tutorials, and occasionally assists in battles with his Tundra Eagle .50.

As a soldier, he excels in combat. With 300 and his powerful Tundra Eagle .50, he is a formidable force early in the game, often one-shotting early enemies. However, as other units develop, his unrankable status and shared can make him less desirable in later levels.

Biography[]

Spoiler warning!
This article contains plot details pertaining to the main story.

Lt. Morgan attended and graduated from The Military Academy of The Empire. With extensive combat and logistics experience, he heads to the Northern Frontier as the main operations and logistics manager for the 95th Rifle Company. The player, referred to as The Captain, first meets Lt. Morgan during the tutorial, where Morgan praises the player as the best boss he’s ever had.

Personality[]

Lt. Morgan's most prominent and humorous trait is his fondness for alcohol. Throughout the story, he makes frequent comedic references to drinking, even once offering Percival his seat in exchange for whiskey and suffering a hangover in the game’s opening cutscene. While usually calm, he becomes serious in tense situations, although his humor often persists. For instance, during the Siege of Marin, he acknowledges the urgency of stopping General Ashe while humorously contemplating how many medals he might earn. Despite facing tough foes like Sarin, Tronk, and Crazy Blades, he remains comical and antagonistic. His seriousness peaks during the final battles with Warlord Gantas, where he is all business, declaring, "Let's finish this."

Though generally respectful, Morgan frequently disregards Perkins, sending him on arduous missions. He can be stubborn but is highly knowledgeable in military logistics and siege warfare.

          Trivia[]

          • Morgan's gun, the Tundra Eagle, references the IMI Desert Eagle, a powerful pistol that comes in a .50 caliber variant.
          • Morgan and Perkins have a secret code-named disaster plan called "Situation Gemini." If a disaster of unknown magnitude occurs, they plan to make peace with themselves and commit suicide using cyanide pills. Morgan nearly enacted the plan after learning Zoey had been researching the Ancient Construct following the player's defeat of it to produce Dexter Fragments and Sinister Fragments, but he was calmed down before taking the pills. He instructed Perkins to keep them on hand moving forward. (Given Zoey's track record with "tinkering," Morgan suggests the pills might not work fast enough if the situation ever truly arose...)
          • He mentioned at the end of one mission that he had his conscience removed by a witch doctor upon reaching the rank of Sergeant, and he keeps it in a jar on his desk.
          • Morgan dislikes puns, even reprimanding Perkins for using the phrase "tail between their legs."
          • He wrote a dissertation on the "Human Tsunami Strategy" while at The Empire's military academy (Mission: Something Bad).
          • Morgan revealed in one mission that he fears horses because a gypsy foretold his death would be equine-related.
          • Lt. Morgan modeled in catalogs to save money for college.
          • The building Morgan's House suggests Lt. Morgan may have some architectural skills.
          • He carries a flask of liquor into battle.
          • In battle, Morgan is occasionally seen drifting off to sleep, only to wake up abruptly.
          • Morgan once ate a nanopod but now advises others against doing so.
