- "This Sniper is the creme de la creme of snipers. He’s pretty hard to take down and has a super deadly shot. He comes with a .338 Sniper Rifle with three options: Scoped Shot, Quick Shot, and Armor Piercing Shot! SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS-SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS… EVERYBODY! "

Overview[]
The Marksman is a premium Infantry unit that can be trained in the Barracks.
The Marksman attacks from the back row using its .338 Sniper Rifle, which has infinite ammunition and does not require reloading. Instead, the weapon has a 3-turn cooldown between attacks. The weapon's primary ability, Scoped Shot, delivers precise, high-accuracy fire and features an increased
critical chance against
Infantry. The ability benefits from Precise Line of Fire, allowing the attack to target enemies through partially blocking units. Compared to other
Infantry units, the Marksman has lower
Bravery,
Defense, and no
Dodge, making it less resilient in direct combat but emphasizing its role as a long-range attacker.
At Rank 3, the Marksman gains access to Scoped Rifle: Quick Shot. Quick Shot has a shorter cooldown than Aimed Shot but has less range and
Offense, changes the Line of Fire from Precise to Direct, and removes the
critical bonus against
Infantry.
At Rank 5, the Marksman gains access to Scoped Rifle: Armor Piercing Shot, which replaces its
critical bonus with 50% armor piercing and extends the cooldown to 5 turns.
All .338 Sniper Rifle abilities share the same weapon cooldown, preventing consecutive use of different rifle attacks in immediate succession.
Compared to the Sniper, the Marksman has higher
HP and
Damage, and does not require
Bars to heal. It also unlocks its second
Ability Slot one rank sooner. It does not require a SpecOps Center to be constructed.

Trivia[]
- The .338 is a direct reference to the .338 Lapua Magnum. However the Sniper Rifle itself resembles the Barrett M82 .50 Caliber Anti-Material Rifle.
- The end part of the Marksman's description is a reference to the song 'Shots' by LMFAO.
