Profile

Percival is a male NPC the player meets early in the game after the "To The Rescue" mission, where the player helps defend Recoil Ridge from a Raider invasion. Lt. Morgan treats Percival favorably, even asking Perkins to give up his seat after Percival gifts him whiskey. In the "Strong to the Finish" mission, Percival requests that the player grow Leafy Greens for proper food. Afterward, he departs, returning in the "Ancient Weapons and Hokey Religions" mission.

Later, Percival reappears as a refugee fleeing Rebel attacks in the Southern Frontier during the "An Empire in Need IV" mission, fighting unarmed in battle. He eventually returns to the player's Outpost, bribing Lt. Morgan with brandy to send Perkins with him to explore Ancient Sites, including the Ancient Laboratory. During their exploration, Percival discovers a mysterious glowing red device, which excites him, though the player never learns its significance.

Percival later mentions a new book he found, but Perkins, busy with the peace treaty with General Salmanca, asks him to wait.

Personality

Percival has a passion for ancient history and resembles an archaeologist. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, even breaking into The Empire Library to uncover secrets about the highly restricted Ancient Laboratory.
