Overview[]
The Shock Trooper is a premium Infantry unit that can be trained at the Barracks.
The Shock Trooper has comparatively high
HP,
Defense, and
Dodge for an early unit, giving it greater staying power on the battlefield. Its ability to promote quickly and at a low cost allows it to become a significantly more powerful unit early on. High-ranked Shock Troopers are particularly effective against enemies that rely on low-accuracy, high-damage attacks—such as tank shells. Its low healing cost further contributes to its efficiency and versatility.
Although limited to the front row due to a max range of 1, the Shock Trooper can output more damage than the standard Trooper through its Submachine Gun, which attacks thrice instead of once. However, this potential is rarely realized due to the unit’s low
Offense.
At Rank 3, the Shock Trooper gains access to Submachine Gun: Controlled Burst. This attack reduces the third burst (x2 instead of x3) in exchange for increased
Offense and a slightly higher chance of landing a
critical hit.
The player is given two Shock Troopers for free in the mission To the Rescue!
