Taxes are collected in gold from the population of housing structures. The various buildings range in both the amount of tax and duration between collections as well as the buildings specific level.

Like other revenue, taxes require the player to tap each building to collect the gold and reset the production timer.

The following table demonstrates the effective gold per hour rate of each structure, assuming it is collected upon completion at level 1 and maximum upgraded to level 10. This does not take into consideration the land used by the structure, its construction cost, or the number of times the building has been upgraded.
